The Wild Times in the Press
Our Yoga & Adventure Retreats Have Been Featured in Some Amazing Publications and Places...

Hopefully you all already know how great The Wild Times retreats are (not to toot our own horn), but did you know that we have been featured in quite a few great publications too?
The Wild Times in The Times
This year, we had the privilege of having a full-page feature about us in the 2024 Travel UK section of The Times. Journalist & author Lizzie Frainier joined us on one of our Somerset yoga and paddleboarding retreats this summer.
Lizzie got the full experience of one of our favourite yoga retreats - at the place we held our very first Wild Times retreat! In doing so, she was able to see how they bring a sense of relaxation and peace to our guests, and even interviewed some of our guests for the feature, including the lovely Danny who has now been on three of our retreats.
Check out our post on the feature here.
The Wild Times in Condé Nast Traveller
At The Wild Times we are always looking for ways to create peaceful, enjoyable and afforable experiences for a range of abilities and budgets. So we were very excited when Condé Nast Traveller included our Sweden retreat in their October 2024 article on the best affordable yoga retreats in Europe.
Writer Lydia Gard gave her insight on the retreat and the upsides of a weekend away to unwind and regroup. She describes how our retreat offers a full experience of rest and relaxtion, while fully immersed in the deep forests of Sweden. She gave her opinion on why our retreat was one of the "best zen retreats that won't break the bank". Join our lovely teacher Rebecca Bradley here from May 15-18th 2025.

The Wild Times in Grazia Magazine
Because the natural world is such a significant part of all that we do, we were very excited when Grazia Magazine included us in their 2022 article about rewilding getaways in the UK.
If you didn’t know, we have partnered with both One Tree Planted and Sea Trees in the past to continue our commitment to giving back to the environment. In 2021, we planted a tree for each booking made, and in 2022 we protected one square foot of kelp forest in the ocean for every booking. This was our first time seeing The Wild Times in print, and it is so amazing to be recognized for what we do and to be able to share our love for the healing power of nature with more of you every day.

The Wild Times in The Independent
Dorothy Herson of The Independent was lucky enough to join us in March 2023 for our Yoga, Breathwork & Cold Water Retreat for Women in the Lake District. She was looking for a solution to her premenstrual syndrome symptoms, and hoped to find it with us in the beautiful and freezing waters of Lake Coniston.
Herson spent three days with us doing a series of relaxation exercises and activities, including breath work with Breathe with Georgie, one of our long-time Wild Times collaborators, as well as talks on women's health & hormones, cold water swimming and plenty of yoga. We even had a horse box sauna park up by the lake so guests could jump straight in after their 'refreshing' February dip...
She details her experiences through the retreat all the way up until her train ride home, where she is able to use techniques learned with The Wild Times to continue her relaxation even after our time together had ended.

The Wild Times in the Lonely Planet
Our founder Jenny Clark was able to share her favorite places in the New Forest for the both the England edition of the Lonely Planet travel guide and the Great Britain edition, including some of the spots she often takes guests on our New Forest retreats.
Jen grew up in the New Forest, so she is an expert on the beautiful wild places and adventures there, and is always ready to share some beautiful spots to visit. It's been amazing to be able to show you all the area, and we’re honoured to be featured in this wonderful book that takes so many people on great adventures all over the UK and the world.
The Wild Times in The Observer Magazine and The Guardian
The Observer magazine’s Annabelle Thorpe named us as one of the Top 10 restorative nature retreats in the UK in June of 2024. She highlighted our commitment to natural connection and rewilding by sharing our Somerset retreat experience with her readers.

Thank you!
It's always amazing to see The Wild Times in the press, and we're grateful to everyone that has checked us out and joined us on a retreat.
See you in the wild for a rest and an adventure soon...
