Overview
Do you fancy a different New Year's Eve this year? Join us for a 4-day/3-night New Year's Eve yoga retreat in a very beautiful, special place - Cabilla Retreat, on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. We'll be practicing daily yoga in the barn. Read books by the fire, cosy up in your cabin, toast marshmallows and welcome in the new year around the campfire. Eat delicious food by Beth the Free Range Chef. We will also have two optional writing workshops - one to reflect on the year we've had, and one to dream and vision big goals for the coming year. We find that this liminal time between Christmas and New Years is a wonderful time for this... This retreat has been specifically designed for you to rest, reflect and dream, then float into the New Year with a little more space in your body and mind, and calm in your soul.

Trip Tips
Do
Settle in before starting the retreat with tea, snacks and our opening circle. Day one (Sunday) is all about grounding and resting, so we will do yin yoga and a magical sound bath before dinner, preparing us for a good, long sleep. Monday will bring morning yoga and meditation, before a hearty brunch. There will be two optional writing workshop with cacao, before and after lunch. Later on we will practice yin yoga before a delicious dinner. On Tuesday there will be morning yoga and meditation, brunch, walks in the woods and wild swims. There will be some space before dinner, campfire and NYE celebrations. Wednesday morning - New Year's Day- we'll have yoga then an optional swim before a hearty New Year's Day brunch. This is then followed by a closing circle and departures. The yoga classes are themed around the natural elements, bringing nature into your practice. All activities are optional but encouraged, so you can nap, read or swim and explore - it’s completely up to you. Also - all activities are weather dependant, so we leave space for the schedule to change and flow!
Stay

FAQs
Who is it for?
The Wild Times retreats are for anyone who wants to re-wild and relax. We welcome everyone over 18 of any ability - just come with an open heart and mind.
Please note a reasonable level of mobility and fitness is required to take part in any or all of the activities. If you're unsure if it's for you, drop us an email.
Do I need previous yoga experience?
If you're just finding your yogi legs you are very welcome, but to get the most out of our yoga retreats we recommend taking part in at least 3/4 yoga classes before joining.
Do I need equipment?
For the sea swimming: Swimming is at your own risk and we ask that you can swim at least 50 metres. Please bring your own wetsuit (if you want one), water sports towel and water shoes.
For walking: Bring warm clothes, waterproofs and walking shoes.
For the yoga: Yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, straps and blocks are provided. Please bring warm layers and (if you have room!) an extra blanket is always useful for the yin yoga and yoga Nidra classes.
