The Wild Times yoga and paddleboarding retreat in the Lake District was the perfect getaway. I am always looking to combine yoga with nature and adventure and this retreat had the perfect balance of all three. The location was magical and Jen is a fantastic yoga and paddleboard teacher. I felt I was able to both relax and push myself out of my comfort zone which is exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend and will certainly attend another The Wild Times Retreat.
The Wild Times Lake District Yoga Retreat was the perfect blend of activity and adventure, relaxation and calm. Jen was a fab host and yoga teacher - she has bundles of energy, alongside being a super calming presence. I came back having tried something new, having met great people who shared their wisdom and with the clearest head I've had in months! đ„° I'd recommend to anyone and will 100% be going on another Wild Times retreat in the future, thank you Jen! x
Jenny ran a really beautiful retreat for three days in the Lake District. The location is just stunning, the yoga practice was amazing, and I loved the paddle boarding! There was free time to swim in the lake, go on walks, have a massage, read in the cosy sitting room, toast marshmallows by the fire, and I absolutely loved the walk to the waterfall and the swim! Jenny is just great - really relaxed, but incredibly organised - she made everything stress free, and thought of lots of little extras to make the trip really special. The herbal workshop was also really fun! I would definitely go on a retreat with Jenny again. Loved it! Felt like a really special and magical time.
I would thoroughly recommend Jen's retreat. I have attended quite a few but this was the best for yoga in particular. The practices were tailed to all, including those more advanced, they were varied, informative and meaningful. The venue in The Lakes was beautiful, relaxing and enspiring, food and facilities excellent. The paddleboarding and walks were lovely. I cannot fault my time there other than to wish it had been for longer.
This is an absolute must. If you are up for meeting like minded wonderful and interesting people and doing fun, new and exciting things The Wild Times Yoga Retreat is it. A perfect mix of relaxing Yoga, Mediation, Well Being inputs and having a laugh, doing exciting new things. It was our first (my hubby and I) but will definitely not be our last. See you all again soon Namaste.
Thank you Jen for a great retreat! Absolutely loved the yoga and the space is beautiful, very zen and great energy. Jen is a great instructor. Would definitely come back for another retreat.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself during the Wild Times yoga retreat: Jenny was an excellent, kind, considerate, generous and thoughtful yoga, SUP and SUP-Yoga teacher and Nab cottage as well as Rydal Lake stunning! I will book to go away again with Jenny without any hesitation!
This was an awesome experience, so much fun full of experiences.
Jen is a great yoga teacher. Young, full of energy, a positive attitude, strong and friendly.
I cannot put into words how much I enjoyed my wild times retreat. The perfect mix of organised activities & free time to explore or relax with a wonderful group of people! Jen has put together something really special here!
This retreat was the most beautiful experience all round. Jen welcomed us with an open heart and offered a fun-packed time that went above and beyond what I had imagined it would be like. She is a kind and compassionate instructor who gives you space to explore and discover yourself whilst feeling safe and supported. There wasn't a dull moment as we went from afternoon tea to canoeing, SUP yoga, learning how to make fire, relaxation in the sauna, yin yoga and - a real highlight - hike and swim in a nearby waterfall. All experiences are invitations and the schedule is flexible to take time for rest and recovery as needed. Thank you to Jen and Will for this joyful and wonderfully wild adventure!
Zen with Jen is amazing - this is something we will plan in to our yearly schedule to come and reset, re-invigorate, re-charge. Looking forward to experiencing different locations, new insights and challenges through yoga and paddle boarding.
Excellent retreat, great activities, beautiful accommodation in a stunning setting, very well thought out and delivered with kindness and support for all abilities. Fabulous food and good energy and encouragement from Jen.
The Wild Times retreat was simply amazing. I was a bit freaked beforehand that it might be a bit intense or weird or that I wouldnât be good enough. It was so chilled and such a lovely bunch of funny down to earth people . Massively recommend to anyone needing relaxed time out.
Life changing experience. If you are looking for something new, different, boundary pushing or just enjoy yoga, meditation and water sports, i would well recommend The Wild Times. Excellent food, accomodation and staff, perfectly planned itinerary and overall incredible experience.
Many thanks for an outstanding weekend of Yoga and SUP. I absolutely enjoyed every minute, the meeting if like minded individuals all coming together to create a very special environment. The hours spent in both company and on my own have instilled gratitude that will stay with me. Exploration of the area, the views, the food and the laughter have lightened my year. This is an experience I wish I could bottle!!! I will attend future retreats hosted by Jen. Jen = Charismatic, fun, knowledgeable and approachable. A rare gem.
Jen is an incredibly knowledgeable yoga teacher and a joy to be around. Would highly recommend The Wild Times to anyone looking to reconnect to their wild nature.
What a great weekend in the lake district, my first time on a yoga retreat and what a treat it was. Jenny we had fun, met some lovely people and ate extremely well. Thank you for organising such a fabulous experience.

I attended The Wild Times Cornwall retreat and I cannot recommend it enough. I had never been on a retreat before and it totally exceeded my expectations and any previous concerns I had (yoga too challenging/not challenging enough etc.). Jen + team went above and beyond to make sure we were all enjoying the activities and making the most of the time we had there. I left feeling blissfully at peace with some lovely new friends, which I think says it all!
I loved everything about this retreat! The location was absolutely perfect and I love that we had different activities throughout the day and options to not do anything as well. The food was phenomenal, was obviously made with love and I couldn't get enough of it. I loved that the yoga was catered to different level as well and oh the sound bath was really lovely! I really like all the activities we did, it was so nice to learn about rewilding and oak trees and beavers. And the surfing and wild swim was so much fun and refreshing! Oh and puppy cuddles!!! That was a really lovely and much needed experience. I have to say that one thing I really appreciated was the chance to reset and ground in nature, and also to connect with other people as well. That's something I often find to be a challenge when living in a busy city like London. Overall, I feel like the retreat was the fresh breath of air that I really needed. Thank you Jen for making it so special!
Wild Times is nourishment for the soul, the retreat Jen has created not only connects you back to nature but takes you on a journey back home to yourself. I left with a smile and a full heart. Being a newbie to yoga I was made to feel welcomed by all and guided beautifully in our morning and evening sessions, and helped lovingly (with a few giggles) into new poses.
This retreat was a wonderful experience. Every detail was carefully considered, from the amazing food to the delightful goody bags, and Jen was a wonderful host. I'm so glad I went and can't wait for the next one.
Jen takes real care to ensure that every aspect of her retreat is beautiful, happy, relaxing and fun. I would go to another of her retreats in a heartbeat.
The Wild Times yoga retreat was a very special weekend to remember. Jen and the team have carefully curated an experience like no other and work hard to ensure that everyone has a fabulous time. The Cabilla location is magical, Bethâs food was second to none, and the collective energy of a group of strangers coming together to take time out of every day life was intensely rewarding. I arrived feeling frazzled and overworked; I left feeling renewed. Hugely grateful to Jen, the team - and the other wonderful guests who made it such a fabulous, enriching experience. Love, love, loved it. Thank you wonderful Wild Times!
As someone who struggles to step out of their comfort zone, the wild times allowed me to fully as comfortable as possible whilst doing this. It was my first time paddle boarding, as well as my first yoga retreat and everything met my expectations plus more. Jenny is so accommodating and just an overall lovely person who is a complete inspiration for all. Will definitely be returning to a wild times retreat in the future!
Jenny holds her retreats in the most "out of this world places" in places you cannot help but relax in. I am looking forward to attending my fourth retreat with her soon!
This is a unique experience in an amazing setting, you can not fail to walk away feeling refreshed and energised - thank you to the Wild Times crew.
This was my first yoga retreat, and I couldnât desire more! Jen and staff made me feel at home from the very beginning and I learned a lot, not only practicing yoga but also staying still, living the moment and going with the flow. If you are looking for a restorative place, The Wild Times is definitely worth it!
Had a lovely relaxing weekend with Jenny in Cornwall. Gorgeous location with well equipped geodomes. Wonderful restorative yoga, meeting new people and enjoying the outdoors. I came home with a sense of calm.

5*!! Absolutely loved the Lake District retreat with Jenny. Massive step out of my comfort zone going solo but Iâm so pleased Iâve done it. Amazing instructor and amazing person! Food was delicious and I enjoyed every moment! - Rebekah.
The Wild Times retreat with Jen was the best retreat I have been on. It was meticulously organised with little surprises along the way. Jen and Meg exuded such a calm, fun vibe which was constant throughout the weekend and the group was made up of such lovely people. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jen and her retreats to anyone looking to unwind and have an awesome amount of fun! - Jenni
I have never experienced such a peaceful time in my whole life. We get caught up in the chaos of the world and never have time to ourselvesâŠ.this experience made me reset⊠made me think about me for a change and has influenced how I approach life. Simply wonderful. Jen has this amazing presence which makes you relax and appreciate life in a different way. Thankyou for everything. - Jane
Wonderful weekend retreat with a great mix of relaxation and adventure with a lovely group of people and fantastic instructor. Thankyou Jen. - Lisa
If I could bottle the feeling I get when I finish one of Jenny 's retreats I would... to remind me when I am feeling low and stressed how good things can be, and to remind myself I am worth it. Jenny you are amazing, imaginative, and I love the retreat experiences you offer. Thank you Namaste. - Sarah
This is the second retreat I have been on and I left feeling happy, relaxed, refreshed and at peace - much like the first. Jen and her team are wonderfully helpful, approachable, fun and they really do cater to everyone's individual needs. Would highly recommend this retreat and I will definitely be booking on to another. - Emma
I joined one of Jen's Lake District retreats on my own for a relaxing weekend, to be out in nature, to meet new people and do some yoga and thats exactly what I got, not to mention some of the best veggie food I've ever had! I really enjoy when retreats are welcoming of solo travellers and this definitely was. Perfect balance of rest and adventure. - Mia
I have now been on two Wild Times retreats. I canât wait for my next one, an annual treat with my lovely sister. Donât tell anyone else or there wonât be enough spaces for all the people I have recommended Jen to. This lady has passion, talent, professionalism and warmth. Everything she does makes you feel special and cared about in a light and joyful way. There is just enough structure to feel held and not too much, so you simply drift from one treat to the next without noticing that the plan is all joined up. - Angela
The Wild Times retreat was perfect in everyway. The yoga was great, the venue amazing, the activities perfect. Food out of this world. People even better, loved it. - Natalie
A beautifully paced retreat with a bit of something for everyone. Vinyasa, yin, médiation, soundbath, surfing, coffee, amazing food. Jen is creating something very special at The Wild Times. The locations and team she has around her make it even more amazing. - Kirsty
This was my first ever yoga retreat and it won't be my last! Jen through everything that Wild Times offered, the yoga, the activities and the delicious food, you took me to a place of total relaxation and connection to myself and the natural world, in ways I didn't know were possible. With what I now sees as your gentle progression of yoga, I progressed in ways I could only have dreamed of before I arrived. Cabilla on Bodmin Moor was the perfect location too. It was awesome! You are awesome! You have a real gift. May you go far. Hope to see you again. - Karen
A perfect gathering of cosmic energy amongst groovy people. - Beth
Most fantastic time. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It resets your mind and body and soothe the soul. - Tania
A stunning forest location with the varied British summer weather adding to the atmosphere. Jenny you were an amazingly competent yoga instructor throughout and a joy to be around. Positive encouraging and always cheerful. Your instructing was just the right level of varied difficult and relaxing yoga. I felt the difference to my body on Monday. The entire program was well thought out and set at a perfect pace and with enough variety. The group was a really great mix and size so we all got to know each other well over the time spent eating and doing activities together. Bethâs food was delicious and varied and I would eat it all again. Timing was amazing and we were never kept waiting. Williams calm confidence in introducing us all to woodland skills of fire lighting and carving was top notch. The equipment was well thought through. I will definitely book again on exactly the same program or other retreats in the knowledge that I can trust in you organizing a perfect balanced yoga experience. Thank you.
The Wild Times retreat was exactly what I needed at exactly the right time. I laughed, I cried, I wrote, I talked, I sang, I bent, I twisted, I sweated, I swam, I balanced, I fell, I walked, I sat, I lay, I drank, I ate, I carved. I was alive. For the first time in a while I felt I was purely myself and completely grounded. I canât wait for the next one! Thank you so much! - Danny
The retreat was just that. Lots of time to chill and relax but also really good value for money with activities if you so desired. The group were wonderful and the conversation flowed like weâd known each other for years. - Lucy
Jenny is a fantastic host. She guides you through yoga in such a relaxed way. Nothing is too much for her. The attention to detail she puts ito her yoga breaks is second to none. Thoughtful gifts and ideas . This was my second retreat with her and I will certianly go to another with her. - Sarah
Jen excelled at being an excellent host and putting us all at ease whilst keeping us active with varied yoga classes and giving us a chance to relax in between. Beth also created the most amazing home made food which I found inspirational. It was an amazing few days which left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! - Mel
Thanks Jen for an excellent experience, the yoga and extra activities were great with a lot of variation from mountain walking, going to Marrakech, having a roof top meal as well as sunset meal in the desert which were all brilliant. The hotel had several areas, if you wished to do some personal meditation but also several great areas to come together for food and socialising. The yoga was enjoyable as there were several different types everyday which provided me with many more ideas. I felt uplifted and rested by the end and have met some wonderful people. Thanks so much. Can't wait for the next one. - Kath
Just home from a wonderful week in Morocco with my favourite yoga teacher. Itâs my second retreat with Jenny and I canât recommend her highly enough. She has the most wonderful easy grace and is also great fun! Classes are only as taxing as you want to make them and Jenny is always willing to offer help if you need it. Her relaxation and âsleepyâ yoga are bliss. Iâm sure there is a huge amount of organisation and planning involved in looking after us all so well but the atmosphere is just pure âchillâ. Thank you Jenny - Iâll be back. - Maxine
The Wild Times run by Jenny is a magical experience it offers yoga that accommodates all ages and levels but itâs more than just yoga other activities are offered during the experience and always a surprise. I highly recommend you try a retreat you meet lovely folk with like minded mindsets and Jenny accommodates so well for those who have difficulties with some moves and always presents alternatives. - Susan
Well I can't even begin to say how truly amazing this weekend was. I was very apprehensive about going on my own but my god I'm glad I did. I have learnt so much about myself found a sense of pride, Ive realised my strength and actually I do have a lot to offer this world. I've scoffed THE most amazing vegan food and practiced the best yoga and meditation I have ever done as well learning the art and super benefits of breath work. But most of I had the pleasure of meeting 14 truly inspiring women, from all walks of life....we have cried and laughed together, supported and nurtured each through this beautiful journey. Huge thanks to Jen, Georgie and Beth. @thewildtimesco I'll be back. - Stacey
A Wild Times retreat is good for the soul. I got so much more from it than I had anticipated and in a really short space of time I experienced so much. I signed up for the yoga but got so, so much more. It truly felt like a transformative experience and I cannot recommend it highly enough. - Jane
This was my 5th Retreat with Jenny. Each are unique! She takes a bunch of lost souls at the beginning of a retreat and helps us to relax, enjoy and live at one within our beautiful surroundings and with ourselves...To appreciate and love ourselves and to find joy! Thank you! I will be coming again. - Sarah

Jenny is a knowledgeable, experienced and excellent yoga teacher. She is also a lovely person and the yoga retreat I attended was fabulous. It was relaxing, peaceful, energetic and lots of fun with a varied itinerary of different types of yoga classes including a paddle board yoga class on the lake. There were healthy walks, a waterfall experience and a gong spa sound bath and an evening camp fire. Jenny organised lots of lovely meals and the accommodation also had a hot tub and sauna. Everyone was encouraged to do what they enjoyed and needed, resulting in an stress-free, relaxed environment. I highly recommend booking a a weekend with âThe Wild Timesâ organised by Jenny and I will definitely be attending another one of her future yoga retreats! - Lorraine
Had a fantastic weekend in The Lakes thanks to Jenny and The Wild Times. -Lorraine
Iâve recently returned from a dreamy weekend on a Wild Times retreat in the Lake District. Jenny was a wonderful host! The yoga was a mix of energising + relaxing and I had so much fun paddle boarding (only my second time) and doing SUP yoga. The food was also incredible, homemade nourishing veggie meals which hit the spot after Yoga/Hiking/paddle boarding/ napping. I went on the retreat on my own and was a little nervous to start but everyone was so welcoming, I loved getting to know new people and itâs inspired me to do more retreats alone. I left feeling rested, inspired and energised! Thank you Jenny, Iâll be back for another retreat soon :-) - Laura
Fantastic yoga/paddleboard retreat with Jen who is the most fantastic host. Her yoga sessions are fab, I particularly enjoyed the yin just what I need to relax and restore. Beautiful music and poems. Nab Cottage is a charming place to stay, lots of character and loved chatting by the roaring fire in the evening. So cosy. Jen has a lovely warm laid back style which totally adds to the experience. The paddleboarding and yoga on Rydal Lake was awesome too, felt totally immersed in the beauty of the lakes. Am so looking forward to another trip with Wild Times. - Susan
Jen somehow manages to create a gloriously restful space, while still packing so much energy, activity and joy into the schedule. If you're dreaming of a welcoming, happy, expansive retreat where you're looked after without being judged, then The Wild Times is for you. I came back from our few days in the wild woods feeling serene and centred, like I'd learned a secret route back home. - Mimi
I can 100% recommend a wild times retreat with Jenny. I came away feeling great physically and mentally. The retreat is the perfect blend of active yet nourishing, you are completely taken care of, leaving you to focus on relaxing. Jenny is an excellent yoga teacher and keeps it lighthearted and relatable, with some deeper moments for self reflection if you want them. The classes easily catered for all levels. There are some lovely extraâs like aromatherapy oils, thought provoking readings and all the comfy props you could want. The food is satisfying, nutritious and delicious, thanks to the incredible chef, Beth. Beth catered to allergies and special diets with ease and skill. There were loads of other sessions that complemented the yoga, such as saunaâs, SUP, SUP yoga, hiking, sound baths, fireâs and free time to just be. There is lots of opportunity to connect with the other lovely humans, this is a big part of the experience , the group size and activities mean itâs easy to get to know people. Jenny was warm and friendly and brought uplifting energy with thoughtful touches, even bringing out birthday cakes for 3 of the guests! Iâll definitely be going again in the future. - Rachael
The location was beautiful and the camp was quite magical like a little hobbit village with all of the unique styles of accommodation. The warmth of the team, you all had a very calming energy that helped to put me at ease. The variety of spaces to use is obviously practical but also kept things interesting. I loved the variety of activities too some relaxing, challenging, creative. The camp kitchen was like the heart of the camp and Beth made a great camp mum working away while we went to our different activities, so nice to see how much she was enjoying what she was doing and the love she was putting in to it. Striking a pose on the paddle board, floating on the green lake while watching 3 birds soar in the clearing in the trees above was a moment. The words spoken, poems read and lyrics used in songs when doing yoga or breath work were appreciated, thought and emotion provoking. All the thoughtful touches, books to look through, décor, background music, therapet, makes sense you'd have the most chilled dog ever. - Sharon

Morocco was an incredible retreat, from a sunset dinner in the Agafey desert, exploring the souks, climbing the Atlas mountains to incredible yoga classes. Jenny somehow managed to bring together a group of amazing people, and everyone got along and I feel I've made some friends for life. I absolutely cannot recommend this enough, so much so I've booked two more trips this year and cannot wait to experience them! If you're considering it - DO IT! - Sophie
A week in a beautiful location, great yoga, fantastic food, and the company of some intelligent and inspiring people. The week, like the yoga, just flowed calmly, obviously due to extraordinary planning and attention to detail of Jenny. An ideal way to 'press pause' in our hectic lives, reflect, restore, and recharge. I will definitely be back. - Frances
Just back from the most magical yoga retreat in Morocco. I wasnât sure what to expect on a week away with 25 strangers (and little yoga experience!) but Jenny brought together a fantastic mix of yoga teachings, themes to lift you up, downtime to bond, share and have great fun together as a group, all underpinned by great organisation in a truly exceptional Moroccon retreat centre (which also offered traditional Hamman, massages etc) â itâs no mean feat and Jenny has created a truly incredible and special week that I canât recommend more highly â well done! - Lorna
I had been longing to visit Morocco all my life and never dreamt it would be with the amazing Wild Times team. Jenny and Megan organised everything beautifully and I felt included nurtured and worthy from beginning to end. Time for reflection, exercise, laughter and adventure - it does not get any better! - Caroline
An absolutely fantastic weekend. If you are unsure about going on a retreat, I can reassure you that you have nothing to worry about. Jen takes care of everything with a range of yoga classes offered as well as Paddleboarding, walking and lake swimming. However, there is no pressure to do anything other than relax and enjoy the lovely environment, cottage (nice hidden little sauna and hot tub too) and fabulous food :-) - Rachel
The most special, rejuvenating, cup-filling trip ever! The transformation from heavy and frazzled to refuelled and light in just 48 hours was nothing short of incredible, and I put it down to the incredibly safe space Jenny created for us to recharge, play, explore, rest, adventure and connect. I am beyond grateful! The yoga sessions were incredible on both a mental and physical level, the activities including hiking to a waterfall and SUP yoga were so fun and fuelling being in nature, the food was delicious and so nourishing, and the people were just so open and friendly and a joy to be around. All in all an incredible trip and a special retreat - iâm signing up for the next one immediately, worth every single penny and more!! THANK YOU JENNY & THE WILD TIMES - Florence

The Wild Times Retreat in Morocco has been one of the best experiences in my life. Everything was properly planned, still with a right degree of flexibility to âgo with the flowâ. The retreat program was great: a perfect mix of yoga, relaxation, extra activities, fun, sleep, meditation, sharingâŠ
Jenny has been a superb guide throughout the week, accomodating everyoneâs needs and requests, and making us feel at home.
I will never forget her Yoga Nidra classes, around the fireplace, looking at the stars above, with soft meditative music, in the magic moroccan surroundings⊠-Federica
'I've just been to Morocco on a week's yoga retreat with Jen and The Wild Times. The retreat element I knew I could handle, but the yoga I was a little apprehensive about! I needn't have been as Jen managed our group of mixed abilities with ease and skill, and succeeded at creating a happy and cohesive group right from the start. The level of thought and preparation that went into all of our yoga sessions was impressive and evidence of someone who truly enjoys her craft. I can 100% say that I'm looser and have found 'more space' in my hips and shoulders as a result of the week's workout. I was also happy to have had time to read, write, hang-out with our lovely group on the various planned outings, and enjoy some solace within the hotel and its panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. Thank you Jen, and The Wild Times team - let me know when you're going back!' -Kole
Back for my 4th retreat with Jen and I think it exceeded all expectations!
I don't think I remember ever being so relaxed ... -Mel
Anyone with any level of yoga practice will benefit from this week long trip to build your own yoga practice
Jenny is a fantastic teacher very chilled thoughtful and enjoys fun too
Lot of effort to ensure the week is varied with several trips to partake in -Jill

The retreat exceeded my expectations, it was a truly fantastic week. It was very well organised with a fantastic variety of activities and excursions. Incredible value for money with two beautiful yoga classes per day, awesome venue and great food. I felt rested afterwards but also that I had a good opportunity to explore the area. A proper holiday with many added extras! -Carole
Wow what an amazing retreat! Jenny has created something incredibly special with the wild times & the Morocco retreat is no exception. Having had a rather rough start to the year this retreat was a saving grace for my mental health! A wonderful group of people, all of whom were welcoming whether travelling solo or with friends, amazing yoga and activities which were beyond my expectations. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into these retreats x
I came back home feeling revitalised - couldn't recommend highly enough! -Emily
I can really recommend Wild Times for a wonderful yoga experience and reconnection to nature snd yourself , fab food and like minded yogis đđđŒ-Christine
Fabulous retreat in wonderful location. I booked very last minute. All of my queries were dealt with very quickly and my food allergy was easily incorporated into the menu by the chef. I would highly recommend this as a restorative break away from the hustle and bustle .
I came feeling really anxious having never done anything like this before and just going was out of my comfort zone, but Jen and everyone on the retreat instantly made it feel like we'd all known eachother for ages. The yoga wasnt pushy, you could do as much or as little as you wanted and everything was so relaxed and yet so organised at the same time. I can't wait to do another with wild times -Becki
I would highly recommend a retreat with the Wild Times. I enjoyed every moment and left feeling refreshed and centred. Jen has a really calming presence. Everything was thought out but not too ridged. There's loads to do but you can pick and choose if you're looking to rest more than be active. There were a lot of little extras added to the experience too! -Alex
I am just back from (and still feeling pretty chilled) a wonderful weekend retreat with The Wild Times at Rydal Water in the Lakes. Jenny and her friend and helper Tish created a welcoming and inclusive environment for a pretty diverse group of 16 people. I was with a group of 6 friends, others came alone, all
of us felt included and I found some really interesting people to talk to.
The age range was 62 down to mid 20s but the activities worked for all, prior experience did not matter.
6 amazing hours of yoga really suited me. Another yoga session on the paddleboards with good tuition then a lake swim was great fun. There was time to walk under our own steam and an organised session to a waterfall to round off the weekend.
So much to say, the atmosphere was both restful and active to suit what each individual wanted. The cottage where we stayed was homely, fabulous location with plenty of tasty home cooked vegetarian food from Tim and his chef. Little things such as the goodie bag, the reflective ideas, a lovely touch, firepits and hugging trees really works if the scene is well set... and it was! I don't want to give away too many secrets as that was part of the charm!. Everything the website offered was delivered.
Jenny is a talented yoga teacher and v. good paddle board instructor. Warm, good fun and organised, she she has an extra quality about her which is hard to express. She has a set up a great business with that quality at the heart of it. I left feeling relaxed, reflective and optimistic. Job done really.
I would have liked more time there to reflect and read quietly, I could have done that but the location was so nice I wanted to be out and active and chatting to people. I highly recommend, I will be finding another chance to go again and I will be telling all my friends!
Thanks Jenny and Tish, and Tim and Wojtek - a great retreat. -Fiona
I had a fab weekend on the Wild Times retreat. I arrived feeling weary and a bit apprehensive and over the course of the weekend I reconnected with my body, experienced some great mini adventures and met some lovely people. The weekend was brilliantly organised and facilitated by Jenny and every detail was taken care of. I highly recommend her retreats. -Vanessa
I booked to the Wild Times yoga retreat as a treat for my sisters birthday. Iâm not a yogi, but I was by the end of the weekend. I loved every minute of it, the house, the location, the incredible Yin and Vinyasa yoga sessions and the SUP session was such fun, I even swam in the sea, it was freezing and I loved it. I left so relaxed and content. I need more weekends like this in my life.- Lauren
A retreat beyond my wildest dreams! Food & set up of meal times was a very big highlight for me. I also loved the ideas & extras of the retreat bingo, writing to yourself were really lovely extras. Campwell woods also is just such a perfect loaction for the retreat. I did love absolutely everything about the retreat, but those really were my highlights. -Jenny
Campwell was a superb choice of venue and having the masterful Beth cooking such delicious meals was a huge bonus. I loved your yoga sessions Jen, your calm, gentle voice and instructions made the sessions easy to follow and I really appreciated the fact that there was no pressure to do anything we didnât want to. It was a very supportive, caring environment which helped us all relax so much more quickly and I really didnât want to leave! There was also a good mixture of activities and plenty of time allocated to them so we didnât feel rushed. A thoroughly happy and joy-filled experience. -Sharon
A magical life affirming experience -Julia
Unbelievable retreat in the lake district. Full of activities, yoga, paddleboarding/SUP, walking, relaxing, surprises! Unforgettable with likeminded people, laughing, crying and sharing. Jenny was the most wonderful leader, supportive, fun, kind, extremely patient, hilarious and a warm soul. What an experience and thank you, I was not sure what my body was going to be able to do and holding a lot of anger towards my body (its been through a lot!!) and Its helped me forgive myself and feel ready to get back into healthy habits and get back to being me! I knew i was going to feel relax and rested but I wasn't expecting what a life changing experience it would be. -Jess
First and certainly wonât be my last retreat with Jenny! I had such an incredible and relaxing experience this weekend. Ticked off a lot of activities I have been wanting to try for a long time (paddle boarding, sound bath etc) I would highly recommend everyone to attend any of her retreats. Sheâs such a great leader, ray of sunshine, always goes out her way for you and a great laugh! #kanye đ xx -Amy
Wonderful weekend reconnecting with nature, practicing some awesome yoga moves, enjoying wholesome tasty food, laughing A LOT, meeting inspiring people. Jen is an absolute joy and organised it all perfectly with lovely special touches to make her guests feel so special. I'll definitely be doing another retreat with The Wild Times when I can. -Chloë
Thank you Jen for a truly magical two days unplugging from the day to day of life stresses. The retreat was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to come back next year.-Jo
Thank you for a wonderful and transformative retreat. The yoga and meditation were profoundly affecting and emotional. I had new experiences that I wouldn't have had the courage to do alone. A special birthday celebration, thank you also for the surprise birthday card, cake and present.
Just returned from a fabulous October Lake District Yoga and SUP Yoga trip. Jen and Sophie were wonderful teachers/hosts. Obviously loved the yoga (and the cosy firelit yoga barn) but also the activities (and pushing ourselves) from swimming in the icy waterfall, to the pigsty sauna, wet Rydal paddleboarding and badger watching and my inspirational roomie. -Andrea
Jen holds a group together beautifully and with a light touch. She creates space to engage, withdraw, rejoin, push yourself or give yourself a break. For me, the coastal walks and wild swimming were as important as the yoga. But if yoga is your thing, Jen has your back. And your neck, and pretty much all of you... -Claire
Jen and Beth created a wonderful experience in Devon - mixing amazing activities (swim, hike, yoga) with delectable food (veggies, spices, yum) in a really laid-back way. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you -Claire
Loved the yoga the food and the venue.waking up each.morning and going down to tea and coffee laid out tohelp yourself to.
The mutual support from all.the yogis who always seem to bond well and quickly at Jen's retreats..and Jen practising non attachment....
Lived being able to walk and swim.and te discover me xxx - Sarah
The Wild Times 3 day Rydal Water retreat was just what I required. Jenny had an amazingly well thought out plan of yoga classes, fantastic gong bath experience, paddle boarding combined with yoga whilst floating down stream, walking through lovely woodland scenery to wild swim in a cooling waterful plunge pool so that the experience was truely exhilaraing.
The fabulous relaxing lakeside location, great food & company allowed me to safely embrace new experiences for a truly Wild Time & I returned home feeling rejuvenated. Thank you Jenny.- Karen
I have no words other than blissful for my time away on the Moroccan retreat. I didn't realise how much I needed what The Wild Times offered until I arrived at Tigmi and by the time the week had come to and end I didn't want to go home. Jen and her team have created something incredibly special and in the words of Arnie - I'll be back!!
can I say everything! The Yoga was really good and a great mix of spiritual and body moving (if that makes sense), the walk in the Atlas mountains was something special and I really enjoyed getting to know everyone on e retreat. -Melanie
Everything about the retreat was amazing, it's very hard to choose a favourite bit. Jenny and her team really looked after our group from start to finish.
Jenny was extremely helpful before the retreat started, I had all the information I needed before I arrived.
I'm so glad that I've experienced The Wild Times. -Rosie
Fabulous! This is my 3rd retreat and can highly recommend the Wild Times. Jennyâs holistic approach and attention to detail, left me feeling grounded, rested and restored, having once again experienced her quiet calming yoga techniques in the charm of Tigmi, the hustle and bustle of the souks, a hike in the beautiful terrain of the Atlas Mountains, a stunning sunset and a delicious dinner in the desert.
My heartfelt thanks to Jenny, Meg and everyone else I met on the retreat. You are all wonderful people.
Itâs difficult to find a favourite bit. I got exactly what I came for, to ground, rest and restore and I feel thatâs due to the perfect balance of the retreat and everything that it offered had to offer. -Karen
A surprising week that was relaxing and exhilarating at the same time.
The location was excellent, the yoga was excellent, although I was conscious that I was two beats behind everyone else. I loved the activities because I would never have booked them as an independent traveller to Morocco. The food and the service staff were first class. In fact there was nothing I didn't like. -Elizabeth
The mix of nature, exercise, amazing food and friendship - plus the wonderful Wild Times team -Claire
I have just spent the most incredible weekend at The Wild Times retreat in the Lake District - I was celebrating a big birthday and it was everything I had hoped for and more!
Meg was the perfect hostess and the yoga sessions with Georgie were pitched at just the right level. It was great to experience SUP yoga for the first time and Rydal Water was the ideal location for swimming & walking. It was the perfect weekend - I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a rejuvenating yet relaxing retreat.
The itinerary & activities were really well planned and pitched at just the right level. I loved the combination of yoga, SUP, walking & swimming. There was a good balance between time to relax & planned activities.
As a relative novice to yoga, Georgie pitched the sessions at just the right level for everyone and provided hands on support when needed which helped me to get the most out of the yoga sessions. The SUP yoga was also excellent. -Michelle
I liked the opportunity to have some space and freedom with my friends.
Had a great time with loads of variable activities including yoga, SUP and hiking. The destination and accommodation were perfect. Jenny was wonderful and made sure everything ran so smoothly. Maya and Danny were great and the whole experience was so energizing and peaceful.
I liked every little detail about the retreat. Starting with the location, the views of the lake and mountains, the super cute cottage and of course the variable activities . In 2 days, we did multiple yoga and meditation session. I really liked them all particularly the gong bath as this was new to me. The highlight of the retreat was the SUP and SUP yoga which were really great! I did enjoy every bit. SUP yoga in the water and in the middle of the mountains was perfect. The cottage was very cute and warm with a piano to play on! The food was so delicious. Jen, Maya and Danny- thank you so much for all your efforts , itâs been great đ
Thank you so much again for a great time- keep up the good work. Itâs so peaceful and refreshing
Relaxed and adventurous- a superbly organised retreat with so much packed in , such good food in great surroundings with the nicest leaders who do everything humanly possible to make you feel your very best and who make 48 hours feel like a joyous lifetime.
Perfect location , fabulous cottage stepped in history , wonderful food.
Excellent yoga sessions ( not all easy! ) profound and enthusiastic. Great to have all equipment provided , and the smallness of this group meant the there was loads of space. Also space to hide and be peaceful âŠ
Walks and paddle boarding made the most of the beautiful Lake District location.
Best of all was the skillful way Jen and team made everyone comfortable- and facilitated their pleasure. You cannot help but love the whole experience. Relaxing and energetic ⊠just perfect. -Pam
I went on my first yoga retreat with The Wild Times and had a great weekend! Jenny and Maya are lovely hosts who organised a relaxing yet fun-filled few days at the lakes. They both really care about holding space for others and giving them whatever is needed to get the most out of their time at the retreat. Attention and love have been put into these experiences and it came through. I came away from the weekend feeling grounded, relaxed, energised, and keen to return in the future.
I had a really uplifting experience at the retreat. I think you found a great balance between having some organised activities while including flexibility based on how eveyrone in the group felt, or maximizing on the weather. And, i think I'm a paddleboard convert! The yoga was rejuvinating and relaxing - I like the variation in style that both Jenny and Maya brought each day. Finally, the food was exceptional and exceeded my expectations - I might come back to the lakes for that cheesecake alone! -Mridhula
I had the most amazing time away with Jenny and the Wild Times team in the Lakes. The balance of 'wildness' and calm was totally perfect and every detail of the retreat was beautifully considered. The team created a space that felt completely safe and welcoming, allowing real rest, real connection, and real joy. I wouldnât hesitate to recommend The Wild Times to friends and family - and Iâll definitely be returning for more myself!
I honestly loved it all. There was enough of a mix of activities that nothing felt overwhelming, and never too much or too little. The yoga was all well paced between the more intense and then more relaxing sessions. I felt like we packed in so much and yet nothing felt rushed and I had plenty of headspace to relax and settle in. A personal highlight for me was sitting around the campfire, not letting the weather phase us as we just sat chatting and laughing but really what I'm saying is - I loved it all! -Annie
I really enjoyed how relaxed it was. The location was lovely and the cottage a great venue, lots of history and Tim and team very accommodating and food lovely. Jenny, Maya and Georgie were exceptional host, yoga teachers and made the whole few days excellent. thank you. -Jackie
All of it ! Particularly enjoyed the paddleboarding and the Yoga on it as new to me
Had a lovely, lovely time and would do it again . Will book another trip , hopefully Sweden ! See you soon đ -Kay
location was incredible, being able to paddleboard & swim in the lake so close to the cottage was great -Hannah
Just back from The Wild Times retreat in the Lake District with my daughter and it was nothing short of magical. We enjoyed yoga, an incredible gong bath, paddle boarding, wild swimming, and relaxing in the hot tub and sauna. The food was absolutely delicious, and the company so warm and welcoming. Huge thanks to Jenny, Georgie and Mayaâprofessional, kind, and thoughtful throughout. A perfect way to relax, have fun, and recharge. Highly recommend to anyone needing a reset in nature!
Very well organised. So welcoming especially on arrival. The whole experience was magical, and great to be able to enjoy this experience with my daughter. I loved every activity and special mention for me was the gong bath which was such a new experience!
Yoga - different types, lovely food, great location, fun paddle boarding session, beautiful local works from the doorstep, homely accommodation and great yoga teachers -Fiona
I really recommend The Wild Times retreats. I came needing space, movement and time for reflection and left a healthier, more grounded person.
I enjoyed doing some much movement but also how much rest was built in. Everyone was really kind.
I loved the fact that veggie food was the standard rather than feeling odd one out, it helped the meals feel inclusive.
I really enjoyed paddle boarding as my first time and would have liked to have a 2nd go.
Thanks for making coffee available throughout the day. It was good coffee!
The yoga studio is gorgeous with that view!
Location is great. I loved being able to walk straight out the door into nature
I liked the encouragement to experience the retreat in our own way -Kyla
I canât recommend this yoga retreat enoughâit was pure magic from start to finish. The setting was absolutely stunning, and the house we stayed in was lushâbeautiful views, peaceful, and the perfect place to unwind.
Each day was filled with exactly what I needed: energising and restorative yoga sessions, time to swim and paddle board in the lake, and the chance to connect with an amazing group of people. The atmosphere was so welcoming and genuine, and I felt instantly at ease.
And the foodâwow. Every meal was nourishing, delicious, and clearly made with so much care. It honestly felt like every detail had been thought of.
I left feeling deeply relaxed, stronger in my body, and truly connectedâto myself, nature, and new friends. Already dreaming of the next one!
I loved the whole weekend! But my favourite parts were the location, the yoga and the access to the lake for swimming/paddleboarding. -Hayley
I attended The Wild Times Yoga and Paddle-boarding retreat in the Lake District in July 2024, and it was the most wonderful experience. Situated in an idyllic location on Rydall Water, the cottage was amazing and steeped in literary history from the area, it's a fascinating place to stay. The retreat was so relaxing with some adventure too, a perfect balance of fun and chill time. The SUP Yoga was the highlight for me, a perfect location that was just blissful. The food was also excellent, with delicious and nourishing home cooked meals and snacks available throughout the day. We hiked to a Waterfall and swam in it's rock pools, had morning and evening Yoga led by the incredible retreat founder Jenny, a gong bath, had some free time to paddle around the lake on our boards and wild swim, there is a sauna and hot tub on site at the cottage - perfect after those wild swims, had a trip out to mooch around the beautiful town of Grasmere that's very near - and sample their famous Gingerbread! And last but definitely not least we indulged in toasted marshmallows around the fireplace! Perfection! The rooms were also lovely, very cosy and comfortable, and if you are lucky to get a front of house room (as I was!), you have a lakeside view over the stunning Rydall Water. Whether you are a seasoned retreat goer, or a first timer wondering whether to give it a go - DO IT! This was my first ever Yoga and Paddle-boarding retreat, and I am already saving up to book my next one in with Jen next year. I can't recommend enough! -Aimee
A wonderful retreat interweaving yoga and breathwork with water and adventure in a stunning landscape. The space, held so thoughtfully and compassionately by Maya & Georgie, has re-awakened my sense of self. Thank you. I will be back. -Emma
This was my 2nd time going to The Wild Times retreat and once again I was amazed by how much grounding and relaxation it provides as well as how much space there is to explore, rest or go on adventures. It is entirely up to you what you want to do depending on what you need/why youâve chosen to do the retreat in the first place. There is no judgment and youâll meet like-minded, open and calm people who may be there for the exact same reason as you. If you seek deep rest, regrounding, reconnecting with yourself or others, resting or exploring, I would highly recommend the retreat. -Alja
We thoroughly enjoyed our wild Times retreat and would happily book again. The programme was just the right mix of yoga/relaxation and adventure in the outdoors. The hosts were really great and lovely people too. Would definitely recommend!
The location was amazing and great yoga sessions for those of us who were more experienced. -Laura
Good yoga teacher, Rebecca, Lily was a lovely warm co-teacher and I enjoyed her creative writing session, she went out of her way to be present and helpful, the countryside location. the lake, woodlands and floating sauna, the quality of the vegan food, transportation from and to bus station, the silent breakfast was nice. -Sarah
This was my first yoga retreat so it was exciting, especially as it was my first time in Sweden too. The location around the lake and within the forests was lovely and peaceful.
The location was beautiful and the yoga with Rebecca was amazing.
Overall it was a wonderful weekend and a great break from reality for a few days. -Jenny
What an epic weekend - the perfect good for the soul retreat that gave me the calm, slowdown and adventure that I needed. What a magical weekend to restore, rest, be in nature - creating a community second to none! Canât wait to book my next retreat with the Wild Times
The mix - the opt in/out out, the yoga and meditation twice daily, the venue (shambala is a special place) the food, the humans that came together - the time in nature ! It works so well together !
Exceeded my expectations
Keep being you Jen - youâve created a magical offering -Erica
This retreat was wonderful. Jenny leads it very sensitively while still making everything fun and meaningful. I love the setting, beside the lake with the floating sauna and beautiful woods to walk in; the centre staff are fab - they looked after us very well without ever intruding, and the food is fantastic. It's vegan, and so imaginative, we all loved it.
My favourite bit was the yoga sessions. I liked the range of different classes, from sleepy nidra to pretty hot vinyasa, and I'm now missing my morning fix! The level was well pitched because it provided for those who do alot of yoga and move well, to those of us who don't do it often and can't move quite so fluidly. It was really nice to do so much yoga, too, and it was a big contributor to being. able to get into the reflective zone to help you think the deeper thoughts. I have to mention the food too, which was just amazing. I've never eaten much vegan food so it was a real eye opener and I was truly impressed. And I liked it being arranged to end on a bank holiday Sunday so that you have Monday before going back into work - that extra 24 hours was a great buffer and good timing. -Jacky
Amazing location, cosy accommodation, incredible food, wonderful yoga, lovely vibes.
Such a beautiful retreat in so many ways, Jen and Lily , the employees and volunteers at Shambala and all my fellow guests. Shambala is a place to be visited to be understood, nestled by a serene lake and woodland it has a peaceful presence. The vegan food was outstanding, and enjoyed by all regardless of their own usual dietary preferences. Whilst participation was encouraged nothing was obligatory except to enjoy, listen to your body and mind and do what is needed...but give yourself a challenge too.
Jen is fun loving with a vibrant enthusiasm to help, encourage and connect people through her yoga teachings and retreats.
The atmosphere, the philosophy...Here to relax/get what you want out of it/respect for others, being outdoors, the swimming and sauna, the yoga, the food, travelling to a new country, connecting with new people, listening to others' stories.....Enjoying new experiences and doing new things. Just loved the whole experience. Honestly not one part of it I did not like. -Susan
I had such a great time on this Sweden retreat and really enjoyed switching off, embracing the activities on offer and meeting some lovely people. The yoga classes and workshops were fantastic, the food was delicious and the location was beautiful.
I loved the location and whole vibe at Shambala - it was a very relaxing, safe and comfortable environment. The food was fantastic too. I loved all the activities and yoga classes, especially the forest walk and creative workshop, and the yin yoga classes. -Olivia

Where to start! I loved the mix of yoga- I was a bit worried it might be too challenging for me but it was set perfectly. The evening yoga was so wonderful- I never take time to do yoga like this which was so calming and relaxing. I loved the music and the comfortable touches such as blankets cushions eye pillow etc.
The soundbath was wonderful and a new experience for me. I absolutely loved the lake and activities around it. The location is beautiful and really helped me to de-stress and re-set being surrounded by nature.
The little touches were lovely and I really enjoyed making flower crowns- just that mindful activity whilst chatting to everyone was so nice.
The group of women were of course a huge part of making it such a lovely weekend. Chatting round the camp fire and eating dinner together was so lovely!
The food- OMG! I haven't stopped going on about it since I have been home. It was absolutely amazing and a real part of that being 'looked after' feeling. Beth is so lovely too! -Claire
Just had an amazing long weekend in the woods - being mindful, kind and relaxing in beautiful surroundings. Thank you The Wild Times!
I liked everything, the variety from yoga to wild swimming (I'm a bit of a water baby and feel happiest when I'm swimming in the wild). Loved not having a flushing loo, outdoor showers and a cosy cabin. It was great being catered for and not having to think about cooking - Beth is an amazing chef. It was all very relaxed. Thank you to the team for making it so memorable.
I would say a special shout out to Maya - loved the Sunday morning yoga class. -Liz

My experience at the yoga retreat in Sweden was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I booked on, it was clear how much thought and care had gone into every detail, from the beautifully chosen venue to the expertly led yoga classes. Each session felt purposeful, and the combination of yoga and nature created the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. The food was absolutely amazing - nourishing, flavourful, and thoughtfully prepared. But what really stood out to me was the people. The sense of community was strong, and it was easy to see that this retreat attracts a special kind of person - kind, open-hearted, and just genuinely 'good eggs'. It felt like more than just a yoga retreat - it was a holistic experience that left me feeling refreshed, inspired, and connected to both myself and others. I couldn't recommend it more highly! -Bee
I loved the location in the forest on the lake. I also enjoyed the sauna. I thought the yoga was great. Very nurturing without being intense. I loved Jen's playlist and readings. She has a wonderful ability to hold space. The food was also delicious.
I also loved how relaxed the retreat was. There were absolutely no expectations everyone was completely free to have their own unique experience. -Emma
The location Jen has found in Shambala is truly special! You immediately feel a part of a special community. I can see why itâs a repeat favourite, it sets the perfect foundation for the relaxed but supportive atmosphere Jen and Maya create in their retreat (and shout out to Claireâs sense of humour!). The scenery is stunning - didnât think I could feel awe starting at a lake for such a long time! The vinyasa yoga sessions challenged me, without me feeling out of my depth whilst also leaving me super relaxed energised. The casual âopt inâ type philosophy around the schedule allows for everyone to lean into as much or as little as they want from whatâs on offer, whilst also having lots of moments of connection and laughs along the way. The food was incredible flavours and nourishing - the kitchen chef and volunteers work really hard to create beautiful dishes. Whilst I wonât be going fully vegan I will definitely be bringing more of that into my cooking routine and have purchased the Shambala recipe. Jen has inspired me to see what I can take from the retreat into my daily life to create more moments of calm, balance and nature as being critical to my health! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience - I really needed this and am already thinking about which one I will book for 2026. -Lauren
I can't put it down to one single thing. The sum of the location, the people and the yoga,. It all felt incredibly peaceful, restful and wholesome.
The food I thought was exceptional and if I could eat this food every day would for sure be vegan. The people at Shambala , volunteers and my fellow retreaters really were a great bunch of people and yes I agree that the people really do make the experience , it was a special group for sure -Jo
I could not recommend The Wild Times enough! Jenny is a fantastic host and created such a warm and relaxed environment, which made for a nourishing, restorative and inspiring time away! It was great to meet other like-minded people on the retreat which made meal times great fun for conversation and laughter. I felt included and safe, and confident to move at my own pace for activities. Charlotte made beautiful meals, and created such an inviting and welcoming space for us to stay. The whole weekend was perfect, but personal highlights were the sound bath, herbal workshop and waterfall hike. Thank you so much Jenny!! I will be booking again ASAP for next year :) -Giulia
